About

Exercise and fitness have been a daily habit since my early childhood. Growing up with a backyard pool, I learned to swim before I could walk, participating in sports throughout my youth years; discovering basketball, swimming and dance were where my heart felt most home. As a young adult, I became a Varsity swimmer, a ballet dancer, and a collegiate and International basketball athlete.
Finishing College with a double major in Psyschology and Theology, my passions are in understanding human behavior and in serving others through this knowledge. It was not until I found yoga in my mid-twenties, movement that resonated beyond the physcial, I knew I had found the missing component of my future work.
Immersing myself in various training was the next step in my journey. Completing my Registered Yoga Training, Yoga Sculpt and Barre Certifications in just over one year, I knew the path I was on would be a lifetime of learning, serving and cultivating meaningful relationships.
I am honored to have Radiant Life Yoga, Core Power Yoga and Pure Barre at the foundations of my education and training.

A decade ago, I took the graceful leap and left my corporate career in Property Management to step into the foundations of Pranayama Fitness.

With my extensive knowledge in Yoga, Yoga Sculpt and Barre, learning more about the science and mechanics of the human body was the next progression in my journey. NASM – National Academy of Sports Medicine was next in my adventure, where I obtained my CPT, Certified Personal Training. Now a complete combination of training that I could use to serve others, at an unparalled capability of experience and education.

Pranayama Fitness is unlike any other fitness or exercise offering. With deep love and exclusive attention, I guide you through your fitness and mindfulness journey with my expertise that fine tuned to your specific need, each session. Only with multiple certifications, training and tenure can one person offer this extensive knowledge of the body and mind.

I have connected with clients for a season, some I have been working with for over 5 years. My scope is vast and love for continued education has opened doors to endless demographics. I have extensive experience working with Women, Seniors, Prenatal/Postnatal clientele, Business Proffesionals, Retirees and inbetween!

My love is also abundant to my husband, my son, family, friends, animals – dogs, cat and chickens. I love to garden, bake, eat homemade food, read, travel and connect with others.

Namaste,
Mary Hayes
